![]() It can survive the worst the galaxy can throw at it, and can run on almost any liquid fuel. Far from a sophisticated vehicle, the Leman Russ was designed and built with reliability and versatility in mind. The tank is named after the Space Wolves Primarch, Leman Russ. The Leman Russ is the main battle tank of the Imperial Guard, and is also the most widely deployed tank in the Imperium. ![]() Look at some interesting conversions, painting and just interesting examples of this model. ![]() If you don't have enough turrets to build both types for each Russ I'd recommend 2 and 2 of the bc/vanquisher and demolisher/executioner/punisher, then play some games and build the last turret as whichever you enjoy the most. You can't speak about Warhammer most popular models without mentioning Leman Russ. I don't know if you get both turret types for each russ, but absolutely worst case, a mix is still very decent even when running 5 Russ at once and I've gotten away with taking the tip off of the battle cannons and claiming the stubby base of the battle cannon is a demolisher, even in competitive tournament play. You can either glue on the sponsons and run them "empty" when not using them, glue them on and custom make some little lenses/lights/antenna and claim its the spotlight/sensor equipment when you don't want to use the sponsons, or you can use magnets or metal pins with tiny holes to make them removable. All of the sponson and hull weapons very easily push fit. You can make the battle cannon without gluing the turret tip to swap between the bc and vanquisher, and you can build the demolisher/executioner/punisher without gluing the cannon or back piece that's either plasma or armor and they just push fit nicely especially once painted so that you can swap between them.
